Menu Plan Monday
I asked my husband what he wanted to eat this week. His reply: "MEAT. RED. MEAT." I think he has been feeling a little deprived lately. I personally would be more than happy to never eat meat again and my husband would be more than happy to never eat anything BUT meat again :) I'll still have to work on that request. Here is what I plan on feeding my family of three on a $50 weekly grocery budget for dinner this week:
- Monday: Tacos, guacamole, brown rice, and fresh, half-frozen grapes
- Tuesday: Whole Wheat pasta with bolognese sauce, breadsticks, corn
- Wednesday: Cream of Broccoli soup, homemade bread, apples
- Thursday: Grilled Chicken Breasts, Baked Potatoes, green beans
- Friday: Chicken Teryiaki Stir fry with broccoli, carrots, peas, and brown rice
- Saturday: Black Bean Soup, cheese quesadillas, and brown rice
- Sunday: Large Stuffed Pasta Shells with sauce, corn, and Smoothies
