Wednesday:  Homemade Pizza, fresh grapes

Thursday:  Pancakes or Waffles, Fresh Juice, Homemade Hashbrowns

Friday:  Roasted Pork Loin, Roasted vegetables, fresh fruit

Saturday:  BBQ Pork Sandwiches made from the leftover pork loin, canned pineapple

Sunday:  Vegetarian Chili, Corn Bread

Menu Plan Monday

I asked my husband what he wanted to eat this week.  His reply: "MEAT.  RED.  MEAT."  I think he has been feeling a little deprived lately.  I personally would be more than happy to never eat meat again and my husband would be more than happy to never eat anything BUT meat again :)  I'll still have to work on that request.  Here is what I plan on feeding my family of three on a $50 weekly grocery budget for dinner this week:
  • Monday:  Tacos, guacamole, brown rice, and fresh, half-frozen grapes
  • Tuesday:  Whole Wheat pasta with bolognese sauce, breadsticks, corn
  • Wednesday:  Cream of Broccoli soup, homemade bread, apples
  • Thursday:  Grilled Chicken Breasts, Baked Potatoes, green beans
  • Friday:  Chicken Teryiaki Stir fry with broccoli, carrots, peas, and brown rice
  • Saturday:  Black Bean Soup, cheese quesadillas, and brown rice
  • Sunday:  Large Stuffed Pasta Shells with sauce, corn, and Smoothies

Dinner:
