Menu Plan Monday

Here is what I plan on feeding my family this week for dinner:

• Monday:  Biscuits and Gravy and Smoothies.
• Tuesday:  Vegetable Beef Soup, Homemade bread, and sliced apples.
• Wednesday:  Homemade Pizza, salad, and canned fruit.
• Thursday:  Lasagna, Garlic bread, corn.
• Friday:  Chili and Corn bread.
• Saturday:  Chicken kabobs, baked potatoes, cottage cheese, and fruit kabobs.
• Sunday:  Chicken Stir-Fry and Rice with Smoothies for dessert.

Quaker Rice Cakes at Walgreens For .49 Each

This week Walgreens has the bags of little Quaker Rice cakes on sale for .99 each.  There is a $1/2 Printable Coupon available as well, that makes these only .49 each (this is a good price for these).  The other day when I was working on my Walgreen's deals for this coming week, I tried printing this coupon and couldn't get it to work, but I tried again today and was able to print off two copies of it.  If you experienced problems earlier as well, you might give it another shot.

A Few Great Target Deals 10-3 Through 10-9

There are a couple good Target deals this week (10-3 through 10-9):

• Mott's 64 oz. apple juice and 6 pack applesauce are on sale for $1.75 each.  If you buy 5, you get a $5 gift card, which makes these only .75 each!  The gift card that they give you can not be used to pay for the items that you got it for, but if you want to purchase 5 more, you could use the gift card from the first order to help pay for the second order and you would receive another $5 gift card.
• Lunchables are $1 each.  Use the $1/2 Target coupon available to make them only .50 each.
• You get a $20 gift card when you buy a wii for $199.99
• Huggies Baby wipes 448-504 count are on sale for $11.99 with a $5 gift card back when you buy 2.  Buy 2 and use (2) $2.50/1 Printable coupons.  Your final price after gift card is $6.99 per box of wipes.

*There are lots of new Target store coupons available HERE.  If you are lucky enough to have a Super-Target, you can get free produce with the $1/1 produce coupon, as well as free bread products with the $1/1 bakery coupon.  There is also a $2 off kids denim coupon, which should make for some good deals, especially if you find some jeans on clearance!  There is also a $3 coupon for adult denim.

Free Ester C Gummies

Right now there is a sample of Ester C Gummies available if you go HERE.  I am not a big fan of the Ester C that you mix with water, but these look pretty good.

Beauty and the Beast Blu Ray Combo Pack Deals

There is a $10/1 Printable coupon available right now for the Beauty and the Beast Blu-ray combo pack.  This movie is going to be released on 10-5, so you may want to go ahead and print this out, because there are going to be a number of good deals available for it.  This coupon is through Disney Movie Rewards and it is not good for very long, so make sure you note the expiration date on it.  Options for Beauty and the Beast Blu-ray combo pack this next week:

• Target has it on sale for $24.99 and it comes with a bonus CD.  It would be $14.99 after $10/1 coupon.
• Toys R Us has the Blu ray combo pack on sale for $22.99.  It would be $12.99 after the $10/1 coupon.  (You could always ad-match this price at Walmart)
• CVS also has the Blu-ray combo pack on sale for $24.99.  It would be $14.99 after $10/1 coupon as well, but you may have a CVS coupon or ECBs that you need to use that may make this a better deal for you.

There are also several rebates available for the Beauty and the Beast Blu Ray combo pack.  I do not think that one of the products for the rebates is available in my area, but maybe it is where you live.  You can check out the details on these rebates HERE.

McCormick Catalina

There is currently a catalina deal going at County Market and probably elsewhere for buy (2) McCormick spices or extracts between 9/27/10 and 10/31/10 and get $1.50 on your next order coupon.  Buy (3) or more and receive a $3.00 on your next order coupon (Grill Mates are not included). 

I received a $1/1 McCormick pure vanilla extract in my Redplum insert this weekend.  There is also a .50/1 McCormick pure vanilla coupon here.  If you combine the coupons and the catalina deal when you buy 3 pure vanilla extracts, you would be saving up to $2 off each one after the checkout coupon.  This should make for a good deal on vanilla.  I think I am going to hold on to my coupons for a couple weeks and see if County Market has all their spices and extracts on sale.  They did around this time last year.
